This is my favorite so far! I love all of your drawings, but there's something about this one that perfectly captures the styling and curvy lines of the Porsche- very cool. I've been drawing all my life and some of my earliest memories are of the drawings I made as a kid, my mom even kept some of the ones I did in Kindergarten!
I went to college to study technical illustration (you can see some of my sketches here) and spent four years learning the skills to be the next great car designer! Well that never quite happened, but I have had a wonderful and very interesting career in design and have loved every minute of it.
Like your dad I now work in a technical capacity, but even now I rely on my creative thinking and eye for design and aesthetics to help me tackle some of the technical problems I face. Please keep at it, you have a very special skill that will take you far as long as you trust it. Even though the world is becoming more and more digital, there is a place for artists such as yourself :)
Now the big question is, do you do commissions? I may have a job for you if you are interested?
